Welcome to Bub. By downloading or using the Bub app ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About Bub

Bub is a shared pregnancy planning app developed by IsleWorks ("we", "us", "our"). It is designed for couples to plan and track their pregnancy journey together. Bub is not a medical application and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bub. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with anyone other than your invited partner. Notify us immediately at support@isleworks.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Shared Spaces

Bub allows two users to share a "space". By inviting a partner, you agree that they will have access to shared content within that space, including lists, journal entries, appointments, and baby names. You are responsible for who you invite.

You retain ownership of content you create in Bub (journal entries, lists, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Not Medical Advice

Bub is a planning and organisation tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical guidance during pregnancy.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Bub require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective billing terms. We do not store your payment information.

To cancel a subscription, you must do so through your App Store or Google Play account settings — not through Bub directly. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies. We are unable to issue refunds directly.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

10. Consumer Guarantees and Limitation of Liability

Our App comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

To the extent permitted by law, and beyond those guarantees, IsleWorks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania.
